Carluke Primrose Orchestral Flutes
Carluke Primrose is an enthusiastic group of amateur flutists. Founded in 1938, this Scottish ensemble comprises of 35 flautists and 5 percussionists. There are 7 different flutes played in the ensemble - from a piccolo to a contra C bass - 3 octaves below. The repertoire consists of many classical, easy listening and popular pieces. Currently, the Primrose are Scottish Champions and were World Champions in 1997.
