The three flute choirs
include the advanced Arctic Wind Flute Choir for high school students (Barbara Eberhart, conductor); the Junior Flute Choir
for middle school students (Laura Koenig, conductor) and the Preparatory Flute
Choir for beginners (Kirsten Adams, conductor).
Auditions and rehearsals are at the Turnagain Arts
Building, 4105 Turnagain Blvd.

Northwind Flute Choir

The Northwind Flute Choir is part of the Alaska Flute
Studies Center
(a member of the non-profit Turnagain Community Arts Alliance). The flute choir program is for adult, flute
enthusiasts who are looking for an exclusive ensemble with which to play. There are no auditions required. The sessions will include rehearsals of flute
choir repertoire and instruction on fundamentals of performance. The program is designed for individuals who
are looking to blow the dust out of their instruments and start playing again!

Cassetta Competition awards a $1,000 scholarship to a senior in high school who
is planning to continue with music studies.
This can be as a major or minor in college, for college private lesson
fees or for a summer camp. The
